Chances please!

Hey guys,
I'm just trying to get a sense of what my chances are for a variety of schools, any help would be appreciated! Thanks so much :)

Schools:
UVA (legacy)
William & Mary (legacy)
Georgetown
Boston College
Princeton (I know its a reach)
Dartmouth (another reach)
Notre Dame
Wake Forest
UNC (in-state)
and any other similar-type schools!

Stats:

School: highly ranked public school

ECs:
French club (will be 4 years)
NHS (will be 2 years)
Student government (will be a senator for 4 years)
Habitat for Humanity (in school and out)
Cross country (will be varsity 4 years, will most likely be captain next year)
Swimming (will be varsity 3 years, will be a captain next year)
Soccer (1 year JV, will be 3 years varsity, possibly will be a captain)
Club soccer (will be 6 years at highest level)
Young Life (will be 4 years, will be a senior leader next year, working at camp this summer)

Pretty stellar GPA and excellent ACT score (I wouldn’t even bother sending in the SAT score) but your ECs aren’t that impressive (sorry if that sounds harsh). You’ll still get in to a great school!!
I’d say:
Reaches are Princeton and Dartmouth (duh haha)
Safeties: IDK you don’t have any real obvious ones but I think for you ND and BC and maybe UVA as well
Rest are matches
Good luck! CHance back?

thank you so much! I know my ECs are far from fantastic, I have a few others but they aren’t as long lasting, but I’m hoping that they won’t hurt me too much especially since doing a school sport every season as well as a competitive travel soccer team takes up a lot of time

Look at the common data sets for your schools. If they only accept a small percentage not in the top 10%, they are unlikely o admit you.

will my ranking really hurt me that much? at this point it is literally impossible to climb much higher in the rankings (to get a sense of the competition at my school, I was only in the top 19% of my class at the end of freshman year with a 4.0 and taking the most rigourous classes avaliable to freshmen and in a very similar spot at the end of sophomore year)

That doesn’t mean your school is competitive, it means it has rampant grade inflation.

Rank is everything because it a key factor in US News rankings. Most top colleges accept, fewer than 5% who were not top 10%. the kids in that group are mostly impact athletes, legacies and development.

Princeton and Dartmouth are all but impossible.
