Chances Please!

Hello, I'm new on here and was just looking for an idea of my chances on some schools. I'm an upcoming senior and I don't want to apply to too many schools but I don't want to sell myself short either.

I'm from Tennessee, African-American, 3.72 unweighted GPA, 24 ACT, Top 10 % in my Class.

I'm in the Beta Club, National Honor Society, Student Council (3 years as Class President, my senior year I'll be the Student Body Vice President), Spanish Club, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and I'm in Youth Leadership Rutherford (a program in our county that helps students with their leadership skills). I've taken 3 AP classes and I'm scheduled to take 5 this year but with some classes only being taught during a certain period in the day, I'll probably only end up taking 2 or 3.

Last, I have very strong recommendations. My father is a Vanderbilt alum, he can get some of his old classmates to write me letters of recommendations, he is friends with a couple of professors at the University of Michigan, and my former teacher of went to the University of Wisconsin would write me a letter of recommendation.

The schools are:
Clemson
Florida State
University of North Carolina
Wake Forest (remember they are an ACT optional school now)
University of Pittsburgh
University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign)
Indiana University-Bloomington
University of Iowa
University of Michigan
Ohio State University
University of Wisconsin
University of Alabama
Auburn University
University of Florida
University of Kentucky
University of Mississippi
University of Georgia
University of South Carolina
University of Tennessee
Vanderbilt University

I know that's a lot of schools but whatever input you have is appreciated, please be honest but not too harsh!

I think you’re in great shape for Tenn, auburn, USC, Georgia, Kentucky, Miss., Florida State, Clemson, Pittsburgh, Illnois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio State

Vanderbilt- depends if ur dad has much influence on the admissions, such as if he knows the director or if his friends do, simply writing a letter of rec from an alumni just shows ur a legacy. You’re not guaranteed to get in. Most applicants have a 31+ ACT, top 1% of class, 10+ AP Classes, so your not in the same league academically. Being african american, legacy and class president puts you in the ballpark but it will be a reach.

Michigan- I would say the same thing it depends on how much influence the professors have.

Wisconsin/UNC- I would say its a reach but you have a good chance.

PS PLZ CHANCE BACK!!!
