--> one thing to note: I've been playing the violin for nearly 8 years. I'm in Manhattan School of Music's Pre-College Division and am a part of New York Youth Symphony's Chamber group--I attend daily recitals/rehearsals and have participated in a crap ton of national violin competitions within my years as a musician. I've also been doing fall comedies/winter tragedies/spring one acts/ and pit orch for summer musicals for all 4 years of h.s!!

NOT IN THE MOOD TO STATE THE PRECEDENTS I SET FOR THESE CLUBS, BUT I ASSURE YOU I WAS COMPETENT IN ALL MY POSITIONS ohh and obviously I've racked like 2,000+ community service hours

Internships:

Academic Tutor (2010-2014) - Provides academic assistance to elementary-level students at no monetary expense.
Violin Instructor (2010-2014) - Provides violin instruction to beginner-intermediate violinists at no monetary expense.

--those two alone are ~500 hours :)

OK guys i know this is a lot, but I've made sure throughout my high school years that I was more than frackin' proficient in all of them (aka competitions, competitions, and more competitions...that I've won, of course). I thank my loving parents who were able to provide me with all of this.

Some extra things:
This sounds really weird to say, but I have very great relationships with all my teachers.. I mean, they really kind of--love me(?). With every subject I put forth an equal amount of interest and effort.
I got a 2400 on my SAT (1st time), but didn't take the ACTs. With my course loads, I'm also a National AP scholar and a National Merit Scholar!

Last thing, I wanted to major in Chem and minor in music performance/education.

Please keep open minds. Thank you all and best regards on your college endeavors as well :)

I can’t believe I forgot to add this but I’ve only taken 3 SAt Subject Tests (chem, us hist, and Math 2). I got an 800 for all three :)
