Hi, I'm a white male in southwestern connecticut
GPA: 3.37 with 1st qtr senior year (got a 4.18)
SAT scores: 1880 (1280 cr/m)
PSAT: 1850 (1310 cr/m)
got a 3 on AP US and AP Gov, and currently have 4 AP's this year

I have pedestrian ECs, a couple volunteer places with about 500 hours combined, and i've played a lot of baseball for the school, and outside it.

Very Good Essay, and probably the best letters of reccomendation you will ever read (not even joking around; i cried a bit in front of my counselor when I read them)

Now for the Schools I've already applied to:
UConn (TOP choice)
Trinity (2nd choice, i know it should be a reach, but both my parents are alumni)
NYU, Fordham (reaches)
Fairfield, Pace (safeties)
Drexel, St. Johns (matches)

Majoring in History or Political Science wherever I go.

I appreciate any response at all, but especially for UCONN. Thanks so much in advance!

Also a Naitonal Latin Exam Summa Cum Laude Gold Medal, and I got an award for being “advanced” in all sections of my State Sophomore exam (“CAPT” Master)
GPA by year: Freshman: ~3.2 Sophomore: ~3.1 Junior: ~3.6, and as i previousy stated, a 4.18 through first quarter. I have also held down two languages all four years, and they have always been two of my best classes (this year I have AP Spanish Language and Hn. Latin IV). My course schedule has been very rigorous, hence the lower GPA. 11 honors and 6 APs.

UConn: Match
Trinity: High match (double legacy helps)
NYU: Reach
Fordham: Match
Fairfield: Safety
Pace: Safety
Drexel: Low match
St. John’s: Safety

Thanks for your input! UConn is my clear cut number one, i’ve visited twice and even had the luck to meet Kevin Ollie and get a picture with him. It is definitely reassuring to know that it doesn’t necessarily have to be a perfect world for me to be accepted.
