Attending a public high school in South FL</p>

<p>SAT Score: 1800
Unweighted GPA: 3.3
Weighted: 5.3 (Haven't calculated my UF gpa yet, but I know my FSU gpa is a 4.3)</p>

<p>Academics:
-6 APs (World, Euro, US History, Lit, Lang, Psych)
-Pre-IB classes in 9th & 10th grades, IB classes 11th & 12th.</p>

<p>EC's
-9th grade: club soccer
-10th grade: varsity soccer, hispanic heritage club, dfyit club
-11th grade, National Honor Society, Quill & Scroll Honor Society (Secretary), Spanish Honor Society, Key Club, Model UN, Secretary of the IB Student Government, Editor of the Yearbook.</p>

<p>Volunteer Work/Work experience:
-Baptist Hospital (gift shop)
-I tutor at a local middle school every wednesday
-I tutor at a local elementary school every monday
-300+ hours logged into my school's system</p>

<p>Awards:
-Only AP Scholar for passing my AP's :/</p>

<p>Also... when does the application for UF come out? Thanks in advance for any feedback! :)</p>

<p>Freshman applications will be available online in August. The preferred application period is August 1 through November 1. You’re chances are significant lower if you miss the Nov 1 date…</p>

<p>You’re EC’s and GPA are great (UF weight’s GPA a bit more than SAT/ACT scores). Your SAT is fine, though you may want to retake it in Oct. The middle 50% SAT for 2012 Freshman was 1810 to 2080 (though with holistic admissions, your GPA and EC’s go a long way to making up for an average SAT).</p>
