Chances for Cornell, Johns Hopkins, Boston University, University of Chicago, BYU?

ACT: 33 (math 31, English 35, reading 34, science 33)
Haven't taken SAT

4.0 GPA

4 on AP Bio test freshman year, 5 on AP Statistics test last year, taking AP Chem this year and AP Psych next year. AP classes at my school are really hard.
I am in my school's 2-year honors program which is extremely rigorous. You have to take a total of 4 AP classes throughout high school, have 75 hours of community service, take a series of 6 difficult trimester-long classes, and write a 20-page dissertation of a topic of your choice at the end of senior year. It's the only way to graduate with honors at my school and there are only nine of us in the program.

Team captain of Science Olympiad team

Interested in neuroscience, particularly cognitive and physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy and autism.

Interested in research, but hoping to become a pediatric neurosurgeon or neurologist

Volunteer at local hospital, special olympics, and peer tutored special needs students.

Involved in church and other community activities

Attend a four-year early-morning seminary program (going to church every morning before school during high school)

Have a job working the after-care program at my school for elementary schoolers.

Hopefully next year I will be going on a humanitarian trip to Belize to build elementary schools, and if that works out it will be on my application, also hoping to do the BU RISE program, which is a research internship at Boston University.

Thanks guys!
