Amazing; three first posts on three boards (ND, Dartmouth and BC). Oh well, at least you didn't say the others were your favorite, lol. Regardless, let me take a look at this...

I think you have a good chance. The legacy will help a lot, solid grades, and a 32 which is about average right now (dang that is amazing). At this point I think you are close to where you need to be to apply EA but I would probably hold back (but I am VERY CAUTIOUS with it, by far the most cautious on the board). You definately could talk to admissions and see what they think about EA if that is something you are interested in. I do think you have a good shot at getting in, I would be far more surprised for you to be rejected than for you to get in if that helps.

Sorry about the first post thing-I guess I meant it was my first time posting in general...and really am just starting to look at these places. Thanks though, for your thoughts. I appreciate it.

I would say to apply EA anyway, but retake the ACT or try the SAT first. I can't see someone with a double legacy and those numbers not getting in, unless there is a major red flag somewhere in the application. Also, the research should help a lot. I did immunology research the summer before my senior year and ND admissions sent me a card after I got in and it mentioned how impressed they were by the research. Good luck with your college search!

Definetely apply early, you really have nothing to lose - you can always be deferred and they will only deny you early is there is NO chance. You clearly have a VERY GOOD chance. Good luck!

Apply Early, one of my friends got in with very similar stats to yours EA. She was top 5% of class with a 32 ACT and single legacy.

Your ACT and GPA fall right on the avg for EA applicants. In addition your dual legacy will probably help you get admitted. For this reason I would apply EA.

GPA: 4.0 (unweighted) all honors and aps available
...I dont have time to type much lol...but many clubs, volunteer, cousin attended ND...3 sports a years

Amen to the own thread goingbig123 and also post your test scores and class rank if you have them as well as classes you have been in. It is jsut hard to tell you anything without that information.
