Hi, I'm a male junior at a private school in Florida and I'm curious to see how the forumites of CC.com rate my chances at the colleges I'm considering (as compared to friends, counselor, etc.). Here goes nothing:

Colleges/Universities I am considering:
-Stanford
-ND-(My dad=alumnus)
-UF-Honors
-Northwestern
-UPenn (Wharton?)
-Duke
-Wake
-Princeton

^^I have visited/signed "the card" at all these places as well

Any input would be much appreciated! Thanks!

very impressive...

Stanford and Princeton are reaches, but they are reaches for everybody so dont worry

the problem is that you dont stand out anywhere... your grades are fantastic and so are standardized tests, but lots of people applying to penn, duke, princteon, and stanford have the same intelligence as you have... so what sets you apart?

the other schools i think are all matches/safe matches, with the exception of penn being a slight reach.

find something to set you apart and write great essays!

Thank you! OK so basically I'm well rounded but I should try to become more well-lopsided is what you're saying...In other words, I should hone in on something that I'm better at than others and really play it up? I've still got the summer and the beginning of senior year...

anyone else?
