Its literally this:

You will automatically be offered direct admission to the Bloomington Kelley School of Business for fall 2016 if you have met all criteria below:

  • Been admitted to IU Bloomington and indicated one of Kelley’s business majors as your intended major.
  • Earned a composite ACT score of 30 or SAT total score of 1270 (we include only math and critical reading sections on SAT). The Kelley School of Business accepts superscores for both the ACT and SAT.
  • Earned a cumulative GPA of 3.8 on a 4.0 scale during your high school career. We will use the highest GPA that is sent to IU Admissions from your official high school transcript. In most cases this is the weighted GPA.

If you meet all three of those points, you’re in. Period.

Your GPA is on point, however I’m not sure how your SAT math and reading are scored, if they’re the 630 and 630, then you’re 10 points under the required 1270 as you would only have 1260. Maybe your ACT will be high enough. if not, take the SAT again until you get those 10 points, shouldn’t be that hard. If you can’t get those 10 points, then you can petition and with your GPA, you’re pretty much guaranteed admission.

Thanks @JohnBran !!!

np, I got my DA letter 2 weeks ago and I’m pumped!

If you didn’t get a 1270 SAT for M and CR, take it again. Your chances of admission to IU are basically 100%

How long after you received your initial IU acceptance did the direct admission letter arrive? Did you receive any merit $$? If so did you receive an email or a letter? When did that arrive. Sorry so many questions, just trying to figure out when/if the expect things?

@JohnBran ^^^^

My DA came around 4 weeks after my IU admission, and my scholarship came 3 weeks after my admission

What if you have a 3.73 GPA and a 32 ACT? Direct Admission or no?

^weighted GPA

You’ll have to appeal @illini23. Next time, make a new thread.
