Im a senior at a catholic private school in Sacramento California. about 98% of our school attends a 4 year college...im not sure if that makes a difference to colleges?

W:3.825
UW:3.325
[yes im a slacker (in school)]
although i did take almost every honors/ap/accelerated course available so my schedule would be considered "most difficult"

ECs:

Summer internship at Congresswomans office
Part time job in a cafe
Camp counselor at a camp for children afflicted with Muscular Dystrophy
All the usual clubs/honors(NHS, president of Amnesty International, founded ACLU club, executive member of young democrats, honor roll...blah blah blah)
national merit commended scholar
helped start and run an orginization at my school to raise a bunch of money for children in Africa(we raised approx. $1500-2000...so far)
Varsity Sport all four years(Captain as well)

Im a huge slacker...could've got wayyyy better grades...

Soooo how do my chances look??
NYU
USC
BC
Northwestern(legacy)
Notre Dame
LMU
UCLA
UCSB
UCB
Pomona
Fordam
Georgetown
Columbia(i know i know but might as well apply just for fun)

responses greatly appreciated...thank u for your time!

In at UCSB and USC... for Northwestern I might have said no if not for your legacy. That might get you in. Columbia I can't say without your rank. Probably not. Notre Dame puts very little focus on the Writing portion of the the SAT, which makes your score look very good.

Ahhhh. You're in California, too. UCB and UCLA aren't impossible.

These are pretty good odds I'm giving you, but you didn't give your class rank. If it's not in the top 10%, I take everything back. =p

Might want to look at Holy Cross-tvery good academic school that also competes against Gtown and Fordham in Div1AA Patriot League. Holy Cross has nice campus 1 hour from Boston. HC has better financial resources than BC, Fordham or Gtown.
