Hey I know it's very hard to determine the chances of admissions. However, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I'm applying IN-STATE from a small private school

SAT - 2100 combined
M: 730
CR: 680
W: 690

GPA - 3.72 Unweighted

school doesn't rank

APs
AP Bio - 5
AP US Gov - 5
AP Calc AB - 4
AP English Language - 3

By then end of my senior year, I will have taken 10 APs...my school does not offer anymore

Senior Courseload is as rigorous as possible

i would think it doesnt. look, virginia doesnt have many asians compared to other states. i visited the grounds and hardly saw anyone who was... i was reminded of a blog someone once posted on the uva forum--something along the lines of, "uva earns a D for diversity". its somewhat true. the college is like clam chowder. i dont see how being asian would hurt his chances. i think so many people feel that asians dont qualify for minority status...but hello! we do. we're just not "under represented minorities".

Asians are admitted in at slightly lower rates than whites for whatever reason. Also, Asians are overrepresented by about 2.5-3 times compared to the national population, I believe.

Virginia has a 5.2% Asian population, while UVa has a 11% Asian population. But this holds true for most national universities.

A significant number of UVa students are from Northern Virginia (about 27% of undergraduate population are from Fairfax County). Fairfax County sends the largest number of students to UVa each year (551 this year) and the county has a 13% Asian population.

I'll let you come up with your own conclusions from that data. :p

I'm not very familiar with VA and their demographics. i just moved over the summer. but at the end of the day, the asian population is sparse compared to....the northeast and the west. and also, my answer toward this thread would be biased because i'm asian. hahahha. sorry.
