Chances Please

I have a 3.85 gpa at a small private school in wash.

Took the Nov 4th sat. Expecting a 500-600 M and 550-650 CR & W.
Not so good I know.

Extra's:
Vice pres National Honor Society
4 years of acting & plays.
A few honors classes.
School doesn't offer AP's or honors in most classes.
Work experience & good amount of volunteering.
Great reccomendation letters

I've been told UW is a reach.
What do you think are my chances, and what could I do to help my chances?

Also main question: Would applying by Dec 1st (priority admission I think they call it) improve my chances at all?
Thank you

i think you have a very good chance.
i mean, UW isn't THAT competitive of a school - i've met so many kids who are actually pretty dumb who got in here.
i'm a sophomore now, and i got in in march 2005 with a 3.36 gpa (honors english/history/science 9th and 10th, 4 AP's from 11th-12th grade), 1290 old SAT (out of 1600), and a few extra currics, like jv tennis, young democrats, and french club. i didnt work, didnt do leadership, etc.
i really dont think it'll be that much of a problem. you're in state, and you're not applying to an ivy league.
relax!
