i am going to take sat II's this may..i was thinking math level 1, us history and chemistry or physics..which do you guys think i should take physics or chem? and what scores should i aim for on all three?

Try to aim for 700+ on SAT IIs. Your GPA and rank are good, lots of AP is good, SAT is pretty good... You have a shot, I'm guessing. By the way, are you talking early admission or early decision? There's a difference.

i am planning on applying early decision to dartmouth, so most likely NU would be regular decision..
by the end of the year i'll have at least a 3.8 gpa...i know its not a 4.0 or a 3.9, but a 3.8 in my courseload is very good! right?
and a 1400 is just ok on the sat? i thought a 1400 is the threshold of very good

^^ it depends on who you ask, 1400 is what i would consider a very good score, but it falls right in the middle of northwestern's SAT distribution, slightly closer to the lower end
