<p>Hi everyone..I was hoping you could give me a somewhat realistic assesment of my chances at:
Brandeis
George Washington
NYU
Skidmore
Tufts
I'm applying to others, don't worry, (like SUNY Binghamton..is this a safety for me?? cuz thats what ppl are telling me) but I consider these to be my reaches and I'd really like to get into some..so what do you think?</p>

<p>SAT: 610 CR, 710 Math, 720 Writing</p>

<p>SAT II: 650 Math IIC, 630 Hebrew</p>

<p>GPA: 5.1 out of 6, but the highest you can get is only 5.6652. I hope you understand this system, but if not, I have all A's and I took 2 honors classes and 5 APs</p>

<p>Rank: My school doesn't rank us, but I'm in the first quintile if that means anything to anyone</p>

<p>APs:
English language - 5
Psychology - 5
This year I'm taking US government, English literature and Spanish language</p>

<p>ECs: (they're kinda bad..)
NHS
Spanish NHS
Spanish Club Treasurer
Worked with an autistic 16 year old
Gave private Hebrew lessons
Helped elderly in retirement community use computers
Worked on a campaign for State Senator
1st place in Manhattan College robotics competition</p>

<p>If my essays and recs are ok, will I have a chance?

<p>I would say you should be taking more rigorous classes this year. Your sat scores and GPA is good but your SAT II are average, although I understand Hebrew is a very difficult language. I think you have good chances at NYU and George Washington.</p>

<p>Tufts is a very high reach; Brandeis a slight reach/high match</p>

<p>Thanks. Is there anything I can do now to make my chances at Brandeis better? Cuz I really like it and its probably my first choice (the only reason I didn't apply early decision was cuz my parents aren't sure if they want to pay).</p>
