Chances please!

I am applying as an international student and I just submitted my application. I am wondering what my chances are at making it to the school of engineering...

2080 SAT... 700 Math, 630 CR, 750 Writing
710 SAT Math IIC
630 SAT Physics (ran out of time...)

4.3 weighted GPA

senior year schedule - AP Physics, AP Chem, AP Calc, engineering science, hon english, photo 2

I would say my course load is very rigorous as I have already taken 4 AP exams before this year and scored 4s (Government, World, Bio, Lang)

ECs are just OKAY... not too great

Michigan: Match

I'd say Michigan is a match/reach depending on how Michigan recalculates your GPA.

thanks guys... ill look at how they recalculate my gpa... around what UM gpa should I have?

Well, considering the fact that your SAT is a little lower than the Michigan mean, I would say a 3.8+ GPA is in order. But it really depends on what Michigan expects from your school.

I have a 3.6 as of the end of junior year....

and a few ppl in my school have gotten in recently with unweighted gpas lower than that

recalculate it w/o frosh grades and dropping the +s and -s and a=4, b=3, etc. to get your UMich GPA.

With a 3.6 UM GPA / 2080 SAT and international applicant I'd say Michigan is a slight reach...
