<p>I'm currently attending a private, independent school in the Hampton Roads area in Virginia. I qualify for Florida in-state because my father, who is a Navy Captain, has state residency there.</p>

<p>I need chances for UCSD, UCD, UF, Florida State and UCF, please. ;D I'm looking to major in English and minor or perhaps double major in East Asian languages. For the UC's, I'm taking 3 SAT II's - one in Literature and Math I, another in History and I'll aim for around 700's.</p>

<p>GPA: Unweighted 3.8 Weighted 4.2
Class Rank: 5 / 95
ACT: 26 (I took this without any prep. :\ However, I plan to retake this to ease it up to at least a 30 in June. My recent practice tests are in the ballpark of 31~32)
AP's: World History (4) in Sophomore Year. Environmental Science, Spanish Language and U.S. History in Junior Year. I plan to take Biology, English Language, European History and Government.
Extra Curriculars:
Listed by the amout of time doing each activity;
Red Cross Club (Vice President), The Salvation Army, The Foodbank, The Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Art Club (Vice President), National Honors Society. I have over 200 hours of community service.
Worked during the summer as a YMCA camp counselor.<br>
Awards: Excellence in English, Won third place in a FRA essay contest
Minority: 50% Korean, 50% Caucasian</p>

Florida State: Accepted
UCF: Accepted</p>

<p>Why not apply to UVA?</p>

<p>Why are you applying to OOS publics where you will have to pay OOS tuition and have little hope for much other than Fed aid?</p>

<p>Oops, I forgot to mention my parents are divorced and my mom currently lives in California. XD </p>

<p>UVA's an option, Duke. I'll be visiting the campus this weekend, so I'll decide if I want to apply or not.</p>
