Will stopping Foreign Lanuage after French 4 hurt me? Sophmore year--I know of another guy who got into Dartmouth after dropping french 3 after sophmore year</p>

<p>Founding of a program similar to Link Crew at my school called Outreach, slight modifications added- I can submit the program proposal, outline, etc</p>

<p>Probably going to go for ED can i have some chances? Safety, Match, Low Reach, Reach, high reach, impossible, etc</p>

<p>I'd definitely say that you're a match or low reach especially if you apply ED and you do varsity crew as well which gets you major points. Don't worry about dropping your foreign language as long as you're continuing with classes in 4 other core academic areas.</p>

<p>Agree, dropping the language is not a problem.</p>

<p>Take the SAT II in the language while it's still fresh, however; if you go to Dartmouth, it will be used for placement.</p>

<p>my crew times are at not at college levels they qualify as mediocore high school averages in my area. Does that significantly effect my chances?</p>

<p>Weak ECs if you're not good enough to row in college. If you are good enough to row, I.E 2k erg 6:30, then consider yourself in.</p>

<p>Are my ec's really that weak? I thought crew was my weakest ec because it was the thing i was least passionate about whereas for the others each ec feeds one of my passions</p>

<p>Don't worry about ec's. Do you what you enjoy, then write about it. Thats really it.</p>

<p>Yea thats what i'm planning on doing, i really feel my passion for science will be apparent because I am working eight to nine hour days at an unpaid internship because i just want the opportunity to work in a lab</p>
