I guess my EC's are kinda poor but i wanna improve them in the 1st sem of my senior year...I also would retake the SAT and ACT. One question, do they give credit for the stuff I did in Spain? I was a really gifted painter...a lot of paintings I did when I was 7 are in other's ppl houses ( neighbours, friends, etc...) and when I went to america, I showed some of my drawings to the Art teacher and he said I am a genius of drawing and painting (It sounded really weird, bc im actually going to apply for physics department ew)

If you were white, you wouldn't stand a chance
But you are hispanic, so you stand a slight chance
If you are hispanic/international you lost your chance.
If you are hispanic/citizen you have the chance
Understand?

well, you still have some time to raise your SAT score.
Your SAT II's are awesome, but as you very well know yourself, your SAT I is pretty bad. Since you are hispanic, if you can raise your SAT scores to 2250+, then you'd have a pretty reasonable chance at Princeton. As of right now, I don't think your URM status is good enough to get you into Princeton.

you don't need a 2250 if you are hispanic and us citizen. That is average, they let points slide as a URM

There is a difference between Being from Spain and Mexico. You will recieve less weight for URM status. Your Hispanic (caucasian) which I believe is a different category.

so is i harder to get in for european caucasian? I mean...do I have a better chance than a southamerican? btw i'm international student, thats why I don't score that well on the critical reading section.
but i jumped from a 169 PSAT to the 2000s...i guess i can get at least 2200 next time...

You want to get your SAT scores up a few points. Your verbal should be at least 650, and if it is then your writing needs to go way up. Otherwise, try to hit 700 in all 3 categories.

On your app highlight your contrasting interests in physics and art. You seem to have an interesting choice there about how you switched.

Also, just a note: only put top accomplishments...padding won't help, and don't include awards before 9th grade unless it's truly exemplary.
