Caltech
UCLA
UC Berkeley

actually she posted MIT, which is in Boston, MA…
but anyways,
I think you have an really good chance for Stanford mainly because your brother went there, however your GPA is a drawback.

Olin, Carneige Mellon and MIT are all on the east coast.

I’m not sure if legacy applies for siblings that have already graduated. I also have an uncle who attended Stanford, but with new things going on I’m not even sure if legacy counts.

For my GPA, it’s been an upward slope pretty much (3 B’s in Fresh, 2 B’s in Soph, 1 B in Junior) - I hope they look at that.

i think you look outstanding, and your numbers at first glance are awesome; however, IF schools are still dragging their feet on if and when ,and how about the writing SAT( so why did they make all kids start taking it in March, '06???) and they look at your combined math and verbal, you are a 1460. how does that stack up with the stats on your schools? good luck!
