<p>Your class rank is very good, as is your ACT score, and there is nothing wrong with your extracurriculars. However, it is outstandingly difficult to give chances for the University of Chicago because the essays play such a large role. But for the current moment, let's just say that it is more likely than not that you will get in.</p>

<p>Thanks for the reply. Yea, pretty much everyone I've talked to has said Chicago places a great degree of importance on the essays, so hopefully those will be good.</p>
