Chances Please...

Hello Everyone...

I am currently a high school senior. I do not reside in New Jersey, but I will be able to live off campus. I applied to the College of Arts and Sciences in New Brunswick before the priority deadline.

Currently, I have a 2.8 Unweighted GPA. (I know it's low, but there are personal circumstances that should be taken into consideration. I described these circumstances in the Rutgers essay.)

I took the SAT I twice. If I took the best scores earned in each section, I would have a score of 1850. (With the Math and CR combined my score would be a 1270.)

I am a full International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidate and take four Higher Level classes (the maximum number allowed at my school) and two Standard Level classes. I have completed 125 hours of the 150 hour CAS requirement.

I have participated in five substantial extra-curricular activities. I founded two clubs and am the current president of one.

I know that teacher recommendations are not required for the admissions process at Rutgers U-NB, but I sent an excellent recommendation nonetheless.

What are my chances?

Does anyone have an opinion on this?

u have a shot... (If it wasn't for u r low GPA, u would be in )
but it's very unclear whether u ll make it or not
well good luck !

Thanks for your reply. Does anyone else have an opinion on this?

most likely ur in, u have a higher SAT score than me and im pretty sure i have a good chance. (though my Gpa is much higher)
