<p>Honestly, though, I have no idea how sophomore level transfer works and your high school record could carry it. If that doesn’t work, though, and you REALLY want to go to a UC, the general advice is to spend your sophomore year at a community college. Try taking a couple of Summer courses at a CCC to pull your grades up. You seem like a smart cookie, if you kept at it I’m sure you could have a very respectable GPA by the end of next Fall and be an in for a good UC.</p>
