Chances please? :)

I’m a white male from Texas. I’m top 15%, could possibly go up to 11 or 12% by next Dec (weak freshmen year killed me. Now I have A+ in all my classes, taking all honors/APs)

SAT 2050
ACT 33 (retaking)

GPA: ~98.1

ECs:

Very active in band, (President, will be section leader next year, went to All-State this year). My band is extremely successful, State Marching Champs, State Honor band twice, performed at Midwest International Clinic in Chicago

Community Service Coordinator for student council
NHS member (leadership next year?)
Vice president of Students Against Drunk Driving
Founder of the first political club at my school
Founder of the Volunteer Club

AP:

5 on World History last year. Will take Chem, US, and English this year.

A 98.1 puts you in the top 15%? Holy Cow! Your school either has to be insanely competitive or grade inflation is rampant. I say pretty good chance. Your testing is fantastic.

you should also specify what school in bc ur applying to

i applied around the same stats to CSOM and was admitted

I think you have a great chance! Your stats are great, and you have music talent and leader of community service, My son had almost the same stats and decided on BC for the class of 2012. I think you have exactly what they are looking for!

Neo...I would def send those ACT scores over those SAT scores. If you do that you should be fine.

Haha- do the chance me threads ever end?

^Do students ever stop being paranoid?

Haha no I will never stop being paranoid. Thanks for the encouraging information everyone.

Oh and yes, I go to an extremely competitive school. 100% graduation rate, 98% go to 4 year college. One of my teachers is going to write in my recommendations how unusually competitive my class is.
