<p>Other info: NHS 2 yrs, Student Council 4 yrs, School Newspaper 4 yrs, Chorus 2 yrs, Field Hockey 4 yrs, Lacrosse 2 yrs, Cancer Awareness club, Best Buddies club, Enviornmental club</p>

<p>volunteered at Challenger Baseball (mentally challenged people) and Kids Enjoy Excercise Now Kickball (mentally challenged children)</p>

<p>worked 2 summers as camp counselor</p>

<p>I am confident that my essay will be good because english lit/compositon are my strongest subjects. My reccomendations should be good and most likely very personal/unique.</p>

<p>i think you're 50/50 for UVA out of state from what i've heard about OOS acceptance. i would say stats are slightly low, but it sounds like your essay and recs will make up for that. good luck.</p>

<p>Essays and recs do not make up for "low" stats. Class rank is another very important factor.</p>

<p>my school doesnt have rankings, but they have honors and second honors so i have a general idea of where i stand, probably 10/90 at a competetive, small private school</p>

<p>Stats alone, I'd say 50/50 like Akittka. 2100/3.6 is a little below average OSS acceptance.</p>

<p>In terms of the whole package, I'm looking at a rigorous schedule, dedication to several clubs, multiple sports, work experience, etc.</p>

<p>I'd say 70%.</p>

<p>P.S.
1. Are those sports varsity?
2. Any leadership roles?
3. How bout community service?</p>

<p>I just want to ask what is a safe score for SAT CR? I have 590 on CR, but would that be at least acceptable score to UVA or def not? Meaning would UVA even consider a score with 590 in CR?

Varsity swimming for 3 years (was really sick freshman year, that's why i didn't do it.)
And a lot of clubs: NHS, science bowl, a club i founded...blah.</p>

<p>And to make it up to you allyylla, i think your chances are probably like 45/55. UVA is a really good school, and getitng in OOS is tough. That, said, i think your ECs are fine, and your stats are decent. You should be competitive, but you are in no way a shoo-in.</p>
