At USC, as you probably know, you apply to a specific School within the university and each school varies in the criteria and competitiveness of admissions. For instance the performance majors, art and architecture, and film school heavily weigh their auditions, portfolios, or creative supplements. It would help to know what major you intend to pursue. <p>I'd say you're in. But don't get cocky. Invest time in crafting the subjective parts of your app.</p>

<p>When I attended an admissions seminar recently the speaker from SC indicated the entire application is studied carefully. It is not just scores and grades, but all the things the student may offer the university.
In President Sample's speech in late March of 2008 he mentioned the mean composite SAT of admitted applicants was 2108, up from 2007.</p>
