<p>You're standardized testing scores are on the low side for McGill.
If your average is UW, you have a chance; however, if your average is weighted, it is seriously unlikely that you will get in.</p>
<p>What's funny is that McGill doesn't ask for SAT scores if you're Canadian, all they want for arts and sciences is a minimum average of 86.5%. I don't know what the American perception of McGill is, but in Canada it isn't looked at as the hardest school to get into, unless you're going into something specialized.</p>
<p>The American perception of McGill is different, form that of canadian students, because it it much harder for Americans to get in. International admissions, and especially from the states, is quite competitive. For Quebec students the who have completed CEGEP an admissions to McGill is fairly easy to obtain. This accounts for McGill's overall admission rate being somewhere around 50%. (See link below for details) That percentage, however, is much much lower for American students. </p>
<p>It's similar for Canadians going to the US, if the admissions rate is something like 16%, the rate for international will be something like 3-5%. Very, very competitive.</p>
