Chances Please

Hey i know these are annoying but notre dame is my top choice and i was wondering if anyone had any insights

I'm a vermont Resident and a legacy

GPA: 3.87
RIC: 22/89, my school is known nationwide for having ridiculously smart kids at the top of their class
SATs: 690 M, 750 V
Curriculum: I've taken the most difficult curriculum available at my school (including 6 AP classes, including four in my senior year)
ECs: Vice-President of Peer Ministry
Student Body Treasurer
President of Diversity club
Captain Varsity Ice Hockey

Great Recs and a solid essay

I’d say you have a good shot, you are a legacy which helps, but make sure you put the time into the essay and have different people critique it because the 2 essays are the only way to show your character, personality, and interests to the admissions staff.

2 essays? do you mean the common app one + the supplement one?

^ yea i meant the common app and supplement, sorry for the confusion

is this school a private school? thats like up there with exeter? if not then they probably dont know about “smart kids at top” on a national level. thats everywhere. doesnt look like you’ll get in.

bump…

i got in early action with a similar gpa (about 3.9) and a 1520 SAT. I would say you have a great shot with your stats. Notre Dame is known to honor legacy so that should help too. Good Luck
