In. Good Luck. Based on your screen name, is UF your goal? What are your goals? What are you interested in studying?

Good chance. Congrats on a fine record!

You need a new screen name. :)

I simply use this screen name because my parents use one similar. UF is definently not my dream school, but I am applying. I’m also applying to Auburn, University of Chicago, Notre Dame, Boston College, and Johns Hopkins.
As for what I want to study, I intend to
go pre med. I hope to ultimately become a practicing doctor or work in a lab doing research. So I intend to major in chemistry probaly. Possibly chem engineering.

Since medicine is your goal, you might want to consider this program at FSU:

[fsu.edu | Honors Medical Scholars Program](http://honors.fsu.edu/medical.html)

My D1 is a first-year med student at FSU. She selected it (FSU and later, FSU Med) over a number of other schools. In-state annual med tuition is about $18K; out of state over $50K.

Reach for JHU and ND imho

Yeah, I am aware JHU and ND are pretty big reaches, but i feel like i would regret not trying. I feel my chances are higher at JHU than ND, though I’m hoping to improve my chances with my October SAT.

Parent2Noles-Thank you for that information. That is something i need to look into. To be honest, I’m not completely set on the medical field as par as potential career paths go, but i feel its probaly my biggest passion.

It’s a great school. She earned a biochemistry degree and was greatly aided by the university’s Honors program in individual research.

Good Luck. FSU is a nice safety to have.

Not safety, but more match, don’t you think, sunny?:

Dude you are in for sure.

You’ve got it

I hope so. I am also hoping to be invited into the honors program and can stay in Landis Hall. Hopefully of course.

you should get in to the university for sure and the honors program as well.

Good luck
