Chances please?

Hi, I'm a junior OOS and I was wondering if someone could chance me for USC. I'm undecided, and probably will be when i apply. I know my GPA is really really low, but i'm hoping it's the worst part of my app, so maybe I still have a shot? Thanks :)

I know I can write an excellent essay and get great techer recs., and I plan on interviewing (not required, but can't hurt) Is USC impossible for me?

bump…

Not impossible, but not likely. Finish out your junior year strong, and have a stellar senior year and you might have a better shot.

This link shows the most recent USC published stats, (http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/private/0910/FreshmanProfile2009.pdf</a>). Your test scores are around the 30th%-tile. The real killer is your GPA which is well below the 3.8 average admit, (I’m pretty sure that’s unweighted). Do your grades show an upward trend freshman to junior year?

I agree with LameUsername, your best chance is to really dazzle them this year and first semester next. Right now it looks pretty tough.

alright thanks, ill work on it!
