And counting I get accepted into these schools, which one should I attend? I don't think I'm crazy smart and I'm planning to apply to MD/PT school afterwards, so where would I not receive CRAZY competition?
Hi , can you guys help me out with my chances as well.

I’m an international student, in my junior year, and I pretty much screwed up my underclassmen years cuz I didn’t give a crap about grades.

GPA: (Accumulative & Unweighted): 3.1
I had 2.9, but then I got a 3.7 in my junior year (so far), so it was pulled to a 3.1
On a side note, people with 3.7 GPA get into schools like Williams
SAT 1: 2180
SAT 2: 730 (Chem done in Freshmen year), planning to do Physics and Math 2
Course load: I take really hard classes at school compared to the normal student, a couple APs and all honors courses, I never take regular courses.

Extracurriculars:
Student Leader of the Amnesty ExCo.
Varsity Table Tennis Player
Varsity Squash Player
Community Service participation ever since I entered HS, don’t know how many hours, but a lot for sure.
One of the leaders in my church’s fellowship group.
Been playing the guitar for a couple years for fun.
And other clubs where I’m just a regular member.

This thread will be moved to the chances forum.

Mathlegend…your ACT is higher than your SAT. Your ACT is well into the 99th percentile…so send that…unless you retake the SAT and get at around a 2200 or more.

But, with your ACT, your rank, and your GPA, you have a good chance for any school.

iPacman…you didn’t list any schools, so what are you asking? Your GPA will likely keep you from getting scholarship consideration. Can your parents pay for the school of your choice? If not, getting accepted to schools that give generous aid to int’ls will be difficult.

If you can get your weighted GPA up, you might have a better chance.

Thanks. and whoops, i didnt know there is a chance forum…I’ll post there next time  yea i’m thinking to just send my ACT. Do i seriously have a good chance at UCB and UCLA? My GPA seems to be on the low side, but i’m not sure.

^^^

With a 4.04 UC GPA, why do you think it’s on the low side? Either way, just do you best this semester and hopefully your APs will bump it up a bit.

I think its kind of low mainly because most of my friends have higher GPAs…and some from previous years got rejected from Berkeley and LA…I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
