<p>I think you have a pretty good chance, seeing who got accepted from my school. I live on Long Island. Your SATs are definitely good enough, and your ECs don’t seem particularly unique, but I think they are fine. I don’t know what Boys State is though sorry. The only thing I see missing are leadership positions. I’m pretty sure being a leader is important for NYU, since you will essentially be on your own.</p>

<p>You have a REALLY REALLY good chance of getting in. Just get some leadership positions senior year and you’re set. Honestly, I know people who got into NYU (with scholarships) with just amazing SAT and GPAs and just a few activities (no leadership). So not only do I think you’ll get in, I also believe that you’ll get scholarships as well.</p>
