Please tell me what you think, and what you think i need to do!

I agree with hahahahah: your ACT score could use improvement. Your GPA seems a bit low for a weighted GPA though. Did you mean 3.96 was your unweighted GPA? If not, then what is your unweighted GPA? Extracurriculars look excellent though.

Remember that the lovely list you’ve given is only part of the application… Also, remember that your GPA means nothing, Vanderbilt (or any other top tier school) will recalculate it using their own weighting scheme that accounts for the difficulty of the courses and what they know about your school, this is the only way that GPAs are actually comparable student to student.

Your ACT is on the low end, it won’t hurt you, but it certainly won’t help. Taking it again won’t hurt, most schools only look at the best composite (ACT) or best score from each test (SAT). Also, most students do better on one of the tests than the other (this is because they test different things), you may consider giving the SAT a shot, you might do better.

Remember that EVERYONE has an impressive list of extracurriculars, your task is to decide what things you’ve done that make you unique and highlight them. Top schools are very concerned with making sure their student body is diverse and full of interesting people, you want to be one of them!

Think about other schools, Apply to a school with rolling admissions ASAP that you know you can get into (Tulane is a good choice, state schools as well) and have it in your back pocket. If nothing else it will make you feel better because you know you got in somewhere!
