chances please

<p>I am a middle class white american male on a substantial scholarship at a canadian prep school (Ridley College) that consistantly places kids in ivies. I attended american public school in upstate NY for freshman and sophmore years and ridley for my jr year. I just started my senior year. </p>

<p>stats:</p>

<p>SAT: 780 R 740 M 780 W (12 essay) = 2300
PSAT: 233
SAT II: English 750 World History *** American History 720
AP: American History 5 English 5 more scheduled
GPA: around a 98 average 9th and 10th grade, around a 96 last year (they grade much harder in prep school)
* school does not rank, but I would be in the top 5%</p>

<p>well before we can suggest safeties (you definitely need a couple of safeties because you're applying to the most competitive schools), we need to know a little bit about what you're looking for in a school</p>

<p>well i am probably looking to go to law school after college, so a strong poli- sci/ history program would be a big plus (and those are my favorite subjects anyway). i am considering playing college hockey, and if so, it would be DIII (hence williams, amherst, bowdoin). i believe i would be more comfortable at a smaller school than a larger one, although medium-sized is fine too. i am a huge fan of seminar- style classes. i want somewhere where people care about both their schoolwork and other things such as sports, etc.</p>
