What are my chances for these schools?
WUSTL
Davidson
Boston College
Centre (KY)
Grinnell (baseball)
Claremont-McKenna
Auburn (Alabama resident)
Alabama (Alabama resident)
Penn State

I think overall you have a nice mix of reach, match, and safety schools. Your GPA will not be as competitive at some of the top-tier schools on your list, but you still have a shot. Good luck.

I think the list looks good too. Visit and interview at Grinnell if you can - demonstrated interest matters, and, since it’s a small, rural LAC, you will want to be sure that it’s a good fit.

WUSTL - match
Davidson - match
Boston College - match
Centre (KY) - no idea
Grinnell (baseball) - no idea
Claremont-McKenna - no idea
Auburn (Alabama resident) - safety
Alabama (Alabama resident) - safety
Penn State - match/safety

you have no reaches imo, should think of a few reach schools to apply to =p

What are my chances for these schools?
WUSTL- mid reach
Davidson- low reach
Boston College- high match/low reach
Centre (KY)- match
Grinnell (baseball)- High match/Low reach Did they offer you a baseball scholarship? Great school.
Claremont-McKenna- low/mid reach
Auburn (Alabama resident)- safety
Alabama (Alabama resident)- safety
Penn State- match/safety

The schools I feel are “high matches/low reaches” (or above) are due to your GPA. Boston College, as an example: your ACT score puts you at the very top of their applicant pool but your GPA is a little low compared to many of their applicants. As a parent of a BC student, I think they tend to put a little more emphasis on GPA then they do on test scores.

Big variations between schools on your list. Just need to know D3 schools do not give athletic scholarships. What are you going to college for? Baseball? My son is a second year at Grinnell and is doing great at school and is on the baseball team. Its a small school, rural location, quiet, hard, big work load, nice campus, small class sizes, great professors who care. My opinion is that my son will be well prepared for his next step in life.

WUSTL-mid reach
Davidson- match
Boston College-low reach/ high match
Centre (KY)- in
Grinnell (baseball)- in
Claremont-McKenna- match
Auburn (Alabama resident)- in
Alabama (Alabama resident)-in
Penn State- low match/in

Goodluck you have a great chance at all of these schools. Could you please chance me back

Might look at a school like Holy Cross-very good LAC with good Div1 baseball program. HC has one of the best baseball stadiums in the northeast. Holy Cross has strong alumni network and January 15th application due date.
