Would your chances hurt in getting into this school if you are poor? I'm just wondering.

or it doesn’t hurt to try applying anyway?

it doesn’t hurt if you are poor. RPI can accomdate you, I am a freshman at Rensselaer and I know some kids that have income brackets under 50K.

Do you know anyone in the HEOP program and their stats?

I am pretty sure I know one because her dad is gone and she is poor… She had like a 1900 sat but a perfect gpa and she was like the saludictorian at her school. (She went to a really small school)

oh. I guess I don’t really have good chances? I have like a 3.6 GPA and 1700 SAT. That seems way off from what the average RPI HEOP students get… or I should still try applying ?

still try if you want
