<p>First of all, regarding the SAT, does SU take the highest score from each section if you do multiple sittings? If so, here are my updated stats:</p>

<p>Caucasian male living in upstate NY.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.7</p>

<p>SAT: 620 M 630 V 630 W -- 1250/1880
Rank: 22/182 (top 12%)</p>

<p>Work experience: Will have held down cashier job for a few months when I apply</p>

<p>ECs: Poor (a little volunteer work)</p>

<p>How do they look?</p>

<p>I would say the school is a comfort/reach for you. I have similar stats and thats what my college counselors said, My GPA is 3.4 and my sats ate 1280/1860 but i have more ECs. If you had more then the school would be a comfort for you.</p>

<p>did my chances improve. my sats are 1860 now. 620 in reading, math and writing. so the highest would be a 128-.</p>
