chances PLXX PLX;X!!1

Sorry about the title, I've been wanting to do that forever. lol. Sorry again.

Mainly, I'd just like to get opinions and speculations of how my GPA will affect me and my overall competitive-ness. Does an upward linear trend make up for subpar performance freshman year?

GPA UW: 3.7 Weighted: 4.3 (Really tough prep school that doesn't rank. I usually have on average 1.5 B's per semester, but my grades have clearly been going UP each semester. I've shown major improvement from a 3.5 UW to nearly a 4.0 UW.)
Rank: I'd guess top 15 out of 125 students.
SAT: 2300 (800 Math, 740 Reading, 760 Writing)
SAT IIs: 800 Math II, 790 Bio, 790 US History

Essays: Really great
Recommendations: Great, but they aren't "this student is the best student I've ever taught" type of recommendation.

ECs, in order of importance:
Art (Recognized nationally twice in competitions, published once in a national magazine, designed lots of stuff for school)
Varsity Swimming (Captain, lettered a few times)
Yearbook (Asst. Editor, which is like vice-president)
Culture Club (President)
Model UN (Member)
Peer Tutoring (Member)

Volunteer/Work: 50 Hours, also have done scientific research (200+ hrs) in a lab during the summer as part of a research program.

Supplements: I submitted a portfolio, which personally I believe is very strong. I don't know how strong Yale artists/other applicants' portfolios are, though.

lol your situation is like mine, but everyone says it is impossible for me, and my ecs are more impressive than yours. I cant gurantee you anything.
