GPA: not really sure but 3.5 or so(uw) and 6.2 out of 7 weighted (my school has weighted out of 7) Rank: 10% (competitive) <-- scared about that... i think my ec affected it which was my mistake
SAT: I only took them once but i want to take them oct... 2110 M:720; CR: 750; W: 640; CR is my worst section and i like math and writing, so it was weird but i'm trying again

I would really apreciate the input thanks... and I understand earlier is better but i want to take SAT because my math and writing are my best sections... what should I do. Srry it was long...Thanks

Your SAT is above average for Umich.

Jeez, don't ask chances. Just apply. A bunch of random kids on some forum don't decide whether or not you're in. There's probably nothing you can do at this point to change your stats dramatically. It's better to apply and risk getting rejected than to not apply and forfeit any chance you had at being accepted. That said, for your SAT, how is CR your worst section and you got a 750? Your score is fine, but if you REALLY want to take it again and think you can do better, just do it.

^^^^

Well from what I can see you have made some chances threads in the past.......

Yeah, I know, guilty as charged.

I just never realized how ANNOYING they were.

But now, I've seen the light. :D

Yeah chances threads are useless, but we all love useless things.

Back to aiding apbiz89, your scores were better than mine and I'm here, so let that take some weight off your shoulders. Just remember though, applying to schools like umich, duke, stanford, rice, or any ivy league is like buying a raffle ticket, if you are obviously a contender (as I believe you are) then your application won't get trashed, but you are still competing for a few spots against many others. You should apply (early!), kiss your application good bye, and be thankful if you get in. The earlier you get the application in the better though, because UMich is rolling admissions and thus, spots fill up as it gets later. Good luck and just remember the earlier the better!
