<p>IMO, your test scores and GPA make Berkeley a reach... If you can get your SAT into the 2200+ range, perhaps. GPA is low, but you do come from Troy... you may be a better match for UCSD or USC. Good luck.</p>
<p>well i cant do nething with my gpa. ne ecs that really stand out that i can still do? i forgot to mention a national merit semifinalist, does that have ne wieght?</p>
<p>National Merit Finalist is something to put on your application... it will get you 1/2 tuition at USC, not at the UC's... it will look good on your UC app, but I don't know if it will be enough for Cal or UCLA Engineering because of your GPA... it's worth applying though.</p>
<p>I'd say slight reach with that GPA. Youre SAT's are great and you have some ok EC's. I got in with similar stats. Applying for engineering might make things a little tougher though.</p>
