First question is: where does Brandeis rank on your college list?

number 2, second only to williams

Well the big flashing problem I see is you only took one year of foreign language. While Brandeis has no official requirements, it strongly recommends 3 years. Generally the only people I know who didn't take at least 3 years were international students, come from bilingual homes, or students who had taken Hebrew school since they were young. Most schools REQUIRE two years in high school of the same language, not counting any language 1 you may have taken in middle school. Williams requires 3 years and recommends 4, for reference.

I think regardless of the foreign language deficiency, you have a more than 50% chance at acceptance. If you bring your score up to a 2100, than I would say you have about a 75% chance of acceptance, and a 25% chance of being waitlisted, unless you apply ED, in which case I believe you have a 90% chance at acceptance, and 10% chance at deferment.

brandeis supposedly values demonstrated interest -- do not fall into the trap of thinking your fine scores and gpa will speak for themselves. try to visit and schedule an interview so they see how much you want to be there.

^I agree, they actually waitlist/reject top students if they think those students would rather go to some other school, such as Columbia, Yale, etc, than to Brandeis.

get ur SAT up to 2080-2100 and id say it would be a probable/core for you

good stats, the language thing is an eyesore though
