<p>I’d say UCs = safety and I think you could aim for higher. It looks like you are interested in the sciences. Consider applying to JHU or other schools a bit more selective than UCs? I am sure you have good chance at those schools.</p>
<p>Kowloon is right. UC’s are a definite match. i recommend that you do look to more selective schools on the east coast and apply there too. i would be surprised, and from what it looks like you are a californian resident, if you are rejected from UC’s. im not really familiar with USC.</p>
