Chances @ Pomona, others

Okay, I'm applying to Pomona, U Chicago, Northwestern, UW-Madison, Illinois, Depaul, and Loyola...

GPA: 4.7 (weighted)
Rank: 8/300
ACT: two composite 33's (I'm using this instead of SAT's, because all my schools take it)
AP Tests/Scores (as of junior year):

Biology (5), U.S. History (5), European History (5), Macroeconomics (5), Psychology (5), English Language (4), Microeconomics (4), Calculus BC (4) (they told me I was an AP scholar with distinction)

Heavy EC's, first gen. in college, [hopefully] strong essays essays (at least, I think so...I tried really hard and had English teachers help me revise...), and sent the required recommendations (I didn't see any, though.) I interviewed with Pomona, NU, and U of C. I come from a public school in the Chicago suburbs (Riverside-Brookfield). I also work about 10-20 hours a week.

Help?
Thank you.

bumppppppp

Well, you are a strong applicant. You are in the running at all schools that you are applying to. Because you are applying to extremely competitive colleges (Northwestern Pomona and the University of Chicago), the applicant pool is going to be extremely strong. There will be thousands of applicants like yourself trying to gain acceptance into those colleges. Make sure your essay is excellent because that may end up being the reason why you get in.
