yea, i'm a junior right now, so here is my resume so far:

Just a note, apparently UC's want 3 or 4 years of a foreign language (having 3 in spanish), but I am also already fluent in Russian (parents born there and it was my first language, so im trilingual.

Scores:

AP exam: Comp Sci - 4
gonna take Chem and Stat, thinkin 4 or 5 in both
gonna take Calc, possibly English/Gov, and Physics - Calc and Physics probably 4 or 5

Tennis- 4 years varsity tennis and tournaments outside of high school (USTA)
My trump card though, the thing that i am using to grab attention of colleges is CHESS:
been playing competitively for 5 years now, ranked in top 100 in the United States for my age, have won over $3000 playing in tournaments (USCF tournaments, United States Chess Federation)
EC's seem week, i know, but i am hoping that my dedication to chess will outshine this

im a white guy

Now, here are the schools im considering (looking at engineering/science):

UCSD
UCLA
UC Berkeley
Penn State
Georgia Institute of Technology
Stanford
Cal Tech- im aware of the fact that i have almost 0% chance of getting in, but why not :)
U of Chicago
Princeton

So, what do ya think?
