<p>Hey guys! I know a lot of people post "chance me"s on this website, but Im like most people: I really want to know what I can improve on in order to get into an Ivy League.I am a junior. Im undecided as far as majors go, although Im leaning towards the medical field. My top reach schools are Harvard, Yale, Brown, Princeton, Duke, Columbia and Stanford.*Academic: Highly acclaimed public school, 5.3 GPA from first semester of junior year, taking 7 AP's this year (by the time i graduate, i will have taken 18 AP classes in total), top 4 of my class, straight A's all of high school, AP Scholar with Distinction as a sophmore (four 5's on AP exams), Best student athlete 2012Extracurriculars: Swimming since i was 11 and compete for school, city and Colombian national team. I hold a national record, have various national medals and have been selected for international competitions for the country of Colombia. In USA, ive been to state championships, national meets, and have school records. Im the founder and president of a club at school, and am very active in NHS (2 leadership positions). 200+ service hoursTests: 790 on spanish subject test, 214 on psat, 1970 on my first sat a few months ago (im trying to get at least a 2200), 5's on all completed ap course examinationsBackground info: Hispanic, female, 2nd generation (first generation to apply for usa college), daughter of a single mom, bilingual , around 75,000 annual household income</p>

<p>So far, you look like a very competitive applicant. Keep up the good work in grades and keep working on/improving your ECs (they are very good mind you, just saying that it never hurts especially at schools of this caliber.) Get that SAT to at least 2200+, preferably 2300+ and you have very good chances. Don’t forget to write stellar essays too.</p>

<p>Try to talk to coaches to get a leg up as a recruit! Easiest way into any ivy</p>

<p>What GPA system does your school use? I have not seen a GPA that was above a five before…</p>
