cableguy, I would definitely encourage you to apply. It's really hard to get in here, but if you write an outstanding essay and have a great interview, you'll definitely have a shot.

GPA: Weighted (9-12): 4.3 Weighted (10-12): 4.54

how does that made sense? How does one year bring up a cumulative GPA a half point?

looks good- go for it

Yeah, you'll probably get in. This isn't the Ivy League, it's not that hard a school to get into. Just write a good essay and you should be set.

Au contraire, wraider. I know several people who got into Ivy League schools yet were waitlisted here. In fact, I know several people who were in one of the top three spots of their respective graduating high school classes yet were waitlisted here. Don't be so sure of yourself. Let's also remember that Wesleyan is known as a "Little Ivy" for a reason.

showtunesguy89 is right, in that Wes can be unpredictable, but your stats are really great, and your scores put you pretty high in the heap at Wes, so I think you have a really good shot. Just make sure your essay is good and show intreset in the schools some way, because Wes is a place that cares about fit.
