Hi everyone! I will be applying regularly to Dartmouth soon. Please consider the following;

Weight: 170 lb's
Gender: Male
Ethnicity: Israeli, white.

SAT: 2310
SATII: Math1: 800. Bio:780
Rank: top 15.

GPA: 3.89 (unweighted) 6.5 (weighted out of 7.0)

AP's:
Social Studies: Human Geography (4), World Hist (4) Euro Hist (5) Art Hist (4) Govt (taking this year...) Psych (5)
Science: Bio (4) Environmental (5) Physics (taking this year...)
Math: Stat (4) Calculus AB and BC (taking this year...)
Econ: Micro (5) Macro (5)
English: Lang (4) Lit (taking this year...)

Volunteer Work: Tons of red cross work. I was the co-director for several camps that they offer, as well as being Soup Kitchen coordinator every week for several weeks.

Extra-curricular (school related): I was the vice president for Key Club, and now I am the president. I don't play sports due to lack of time and the time required for everything else. I do run on the weekends on my own time and several races. I am also a member of Spanish honor society (not an officer), and a member of SGA, as well as SGA volunteer coordinator.

Summer Stuff: I do clubs for red cross (as mentioned before), as well as tutoring and a swim camp staff. The area where I live allows for me to duel enroll ( so i take summer classes there)

Side notes: I take tons of duel enrollment classes, but nothing really substantial. For example; Human development, american history, intro to business, abnormal psych, etc.. I also play piano pretty well.

The thing I am most considered about is foreign language. This is definitely a weakness for me. I took up to Spanish II, with A's but then I dropped it. I didn't drop due to difficulty, I just knew I was not interested in that and I didn't want to spend my time learning that when there were other history and math classes I wanted to take. I did however, take American sign language one and two at the college where I duel enroll.

Another thing, this may be dumb but it has stressed me out lately. There was a scheduling issue my freshmen year and I was forced to take Automotive Detailing (we washed cars...) and fitness lifestyle (we played basketball...) I got A's and stuff. But I don't want it to come off as looking that I took these classes as a buffer, to make sure I had time to slack off, ya know? I hope my AP classes help overlook those two classes.

Thoughts? Ideas? Chances at Dartmouth? I really love liberal arts and I have a passion for learning and cooking. Cooking is honestly the thing that makes me happy, this is what I consider to be the one thing that separates me from others. However, it is obviously not going to make me stand out in the admissions process. Thanks to everyone who has the time to read my non-sense! :)
