Chances!!! Predictions Please?!?

Hey everyone, would you mind helping me out? I really would love to go to any of these colleges: UCSD, USC, UCLA and UC Berkeley. I heard it would be hard for me to get in if i major in Bio, which is an impacted major at UCSD. Anyways, what are my chances? My 2nd choice colleges are UCD, UOP, USF, and UCI. Please list predictions for any of these.

Okay, the only courses that count in computing your UC GPA are the following:

Sophomore Semester 1
Soph Honors English- A
Spanish 2 Honors- A
Algebra 2 Honors- B
Biology 1 Honors- A
World History 1 Honors- B

Sophomore Semester 2

Junior Semester 1

Show Choir Honors- A

So you have 16 As and 11 Bs. And you get 8 extra grade points for your honors courses. This means your UC GPA is (64 + 33 +8)/27 = 3.89

With your statistics (all the honors courses and extra courses you have taken), you will be looked at as though you have about a 3.95 to 4.00 UC GPA (it should be noted that the UC GPA goes down as you take a lot of extra courses if you have a high GPA).

With all of the ECs, you should get a lot of extra points.

In my view your chances are (in-state for all the UCs)--presuming a SAT of around 1750+:

UC Berkeley--slight reach
UCLA--slight reach
UCSD--match to slight reach
UCI/UCD/UCSB--match
USF--safe match to match
UOP--safe match

If you can get your SAT scores up to 1850 or 1900, then you would be a sure thing at UCSD, and if you could get a 1950, then you would be slightly better than 50% at UCLA. Also, see if you can take a science as one of your SAT II scores rather than US History--that 540 is hurting your total points for admittance.

I would apply at UCSD as a chemistry major (not an impacted major) and also at UCSB in Chemistry (they have a great chemistry school). At the other schools you can apply as a biology major.

If you find you aren't doing well in Chemistry in the senior year or that you don't like it, then pick something else to major in.

I forgot to put my main school! My main school is USC. What do you think my chances are for USC?
