Chances (probably not too good)

GPA: 3.2 UW 3.7 W
SAT: 1910 (1930 combined) / 1270 (1300 combined)
EC: Not too much, have been playing guitar for 10+ years though
Essays: Hope the quality was good, regardless, I stated how much I was interested in their combined English/Creative Writing program for "Why GWU interests you" essay.
Rec: Got a recommendation from the teacher I wrote about (person who has influenced my life), should be good.
Guidance rec: Have no idea, I have the worst counselor in my school BY FAR, she does nothing to get to know her students and is impossible to meet with.

Any chances? This school is my top choice but I have no way of letting them know that, of course. I'm a white male applying for their English/Creative Writing major.

I would have applied ED II, but I didn't even realize that was an option until after I sent in the application (which was a couple weeks ago). I'm sure it's too late to change it now.

I'd definately call the office and tell them you'd like to change your application to EDII. You have nothing to lose and I bet they'd allow it.

Is there anything extra that you have to do for EDII, or is it the same application? If it's the same, it's definitely worth a shot.

no, just the early decision agreement - you still have time to get your app considered for ED II.
