Chances... puhleeeaaase ;)

Okay, I'm a white female from Florida

I go to a private small school in the middle of nowhere; most students go to FSU or UF because of monetary reasons more than anything else.

I'm 1st of 30.

GPA 4.0

No AP offered at school; I'll have taken 10 college classes when I graduate (30 credits). I've taken all of the honors classes offered.

4 years of English, 5 math, 4 history, 4 science, 2 foreign language (that's all that's offered b/c the school is so tiny) a bazillion electives; in college 3 art history, psychology, sociology, 3 english related, western civ., and statistics.

I'm currently a national merit something...(I'm not sure what it is; I guess I could be a semifinalist or finalist)

SAT critical reading: 770
Math:670
Writing:770
SAT II Lit; dunno yet...hopefully good
SAT II World History: dunno yet

Student body pres currently and I was secretary in 10th and 11th.
captain of great brain brawl team (1st and 4th in state) 10-12.
editor of yearbook in 10th
Played violin for 9 years
Piano for 5
I'm in the 1st violins of an orchestra
Anchor club (community service club)9-12
National beta club 9-12

I did a study abroad program for a month last summer.
This summer i'm working at a campus bookstore.

Excellent recommendations
I'm working on the essay...

Chances for Emory (1st choice) ED; then for Brown and Haverford RD.

Thanks!

Is your school competitive?

Hmmm...kind of. It's like a regular school except that the numbers are smaller. I would say 7 of the 30 are really smart and competitive. 18 are more average and can get into a state school and that's about it. 5 kinda mess around and go to a community college. (100% of the grads go to college)

Any awards in violin or piano?

Emory: In
Brown: REJECT
Haverford: Unlikely/ Maybe

not amazing ones...just the usual awards that are really fluff to make you feel good. I did win a special social science award though. I want to major in either comp lit or psychology if that helps at all.

Emory ED: Match
Brown: Reach
Haverford: High Match
