WAAAAAAAAAH i hate you i hate you i hate you and the fact that you're as close to guaranteed as possible at all those schools.
no i dont hate you personally, i just hate the fact that you are so damn qualified. my god. is this a joke?

This is NOT a joke. I'm looking for honest opinions on my chances at these prestigious universities. I honestly don't think that I stand too great a chance when compared to the super-geniuses and future-presidents that apply to these schools.

Give us your actual weighted GPA.

If it's at least 4.5:

UPenn - I'm sure you'll get in.
Duke - I'm sure you'll get in.
Yale - Match/slight reach
Princeton - Match/slight reach
Stanford - Match

Rejected at EVERY SINGLE ONE! no, sorry for the sarcasm. You'll do fine - take it easy.

i think you are in everywhere except stanford(reach) and princeton, but still strong chances there

the only problem you would have is low RD acceptance rates like princeton who already took almost half their class ED. othe than that youre about as good as you can be

Evan, I don't think you should get the op to get too confident about Yale.

Yale is considered more selective than Harvard.

Flippy - my gpa is a 4.68 weighted

And yes, I am Asian (this will hurt)

holy cow! how on earth did you spank EVERY standardized test that you took?

why do you even ask - you got a freaking perfect sat - 10.

i really dont get why you even ask. only thing is i hope you are normal. a lot of people who have grades like this are freaks and not socially applicable

You have a great chance at all these schools.

Nonetheless, I would be shocked if you got in everywhere. Good luck.

you have all of the credentials as many have noted. The only thing you really need to focus on is advertising yourself to the schools and using every possible connection. Saying that I feel your essays and recs are gonna have to separate you from the pack.

good luck!

Op:

Great!

I'm about 50% sure you'll get into EVERY one of those schools.

Your chances for Yale is at least match.

seriously.

those are some good stats

theres no such thing as being a match for Yale, Stanford, or Princeton

you can be a very strong candidate though!

Flippy: show me where Yale is more selective than Harvard!!!

i think the high scoreres who applied to Yale this year and lacked sufficient/credible ec's got reamed this year. I mean look at the EA thread...its freaking terrible.

In response to your question, I think you should seriously consider MIT (especially since you went to ISEF)

you'll get in for sure. stop worrying
